      Facing a continuous and fast changing world and the necessity in cultivating global talent, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), a top research-based comprehensive university in Taichung, Taiwan, sets out to establish the International Master Program of Asia and China Studies. NCHU recognizes the rise of Asia, particularly China, in the past decade and notes the immense opportunities provided by the growing prosperity of the Indo-Pacific region. In addition to recognizing the economic and business potential, an understanding of international relations and geopolitics in the Indo-Pacific is also essential for the program.     Basically, the course arrangement of IMPACS will focus on following 4 field:

    - international political economy
    - security studies
    - China studies and cross-strait relations
    - interdisciplinary training
