National Chung-Hsing University (NCHU) is the most important comprehensive university in Central Taiwan with 10 colleges covered almost all research spheres, and one of the oldest high-education units in Taiwan established since 1919 which even early than National Taiwan University.

Main Gate

NCHU is located in the downtown area of southern Taichung City, surrounded with trees, grasslands, parkways, forest, and different types of restaurants, and is easy to reach by local bus from High-Speed Rail Taichung Station and Train Station nearby.

Library

The library is here to provide students with wide range of collection of print around 500 thousand books, and enough online resources for all kinds of research needs. There are plenty of rooms that can be used for various purposes and needs, such as multimedia center, individual or group study room, presentation room and etc.

Social Sciences and Management Building

There are two colleges in the building includes college of Law and Politics and college of Management, and also located the IMPACS. It is just beside the Chung Hsing Lake and you can find Hi-Life convenient store at the corner of the first floor; besides, the building is quite near to the library.

Chung Hsing Lake

It is an artificial lake and also a symbol of National Chung Hsing University. The main lake is in a begonia shape (simulated from Mainland China included the Outer Mongolia with a special historical background), and you can find a small lake in the shape of Taiwan island next to it. Feel free to enjoy the ecological diversity along and around the lake shore!

Student Dormitory

There are several types of dormitories provided to students. All dormitories are off-campus but not very far, it simply takes less than 10 minutes to walk from dorms to the campus.

Campus Restaurant

If you have no idea what to eat or you do not have enough time to line up in the queue outside the campus, you can find Campus Restaurant near the main gate. There are diverse dessert shops, coffee shops and bubble tea shop located in Campus Restaurant as well.
