    International students, who are interested in studying in National Chung Hsing University, have various scholarship options available to assist with the cost of pursuing their degrees.

    NCHU Scholarships
    NCHU Scholarship divided into two parts: tuition waiver and monthly stipend.

    1. Tuition waiver:
    a. Partial tuition waiver (the same amount as domestic students)
    b. Full tuition waiver.
    Note: Insurance, accommodation and computer usage fee are not included in the tuition waiver.

    2. Monthly stipend:
    NT$10,000, NT$8,000 or NT$6,000 / Month
    Note: Monthly stipend is limited to few applicants, not for everyone.

    Application time:
    Fall semester: Feb 1st~Mar 31st
    Spring semester: Sep 9th~ Oct 15th

    Qualifications:
    All international degree-seeking applicants can apply through admission application system.

    Government Scholarships
    1. Taiwan Scholarship Program for South Asian Students.

    Application Way
    - OIA does not take charge of this scholarship, please refer to the [related website] to know more application and upgraded information.
    Recipients need to turn in a copy of the last semester's transcripts to OIA at the beginning of each semester to confirm the scholarship eligibility.
    For graduate students who are writing their thesis without taking any courses, please download the
    Evaluation Form.

    Application Time
    - February 1 to March 31 (subject to change).

    Duration of Award
    - Ph.D.: 4 years maximum. (48 months)
    - Master: 2 years maximum. (24 months)
    - Undergraduate: 4 years maximum. (48 months)
    Maximum duration for any combination of programs under this scholarship: 5 years

    *February and September are the first months of the semesters; thus, the scholarships can only be remitted after the registration procedure.
    *The stipend will be remitted at the end of the month, starting from the beginning of the academic year in September.
    *January scholarship might be delayed because of the changing of the fiscal year. The schedule of money remitting will be different in February because of the Chinese New Year holiday. Please prepare beforehand.

    Amount of Scholarship
    - Graduate: A monthly stipend of NT$20,000
    - Undergraduate: A monthly stipend of NT$15,000
    Tuition and miscellaneous fees are waived NTD40000/semester (excluding insurance, internet, accommodation fees).

    2. MOFA Taiwan Scholarship

    Application Way
